Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is a heat pump?
Heat pump HVAC systems are a highly efficient way to both heat and cool your home. They work by transferring heat from the outside air into your home during the winter, and vice versa in the summer. This process is not only environmentally friendly but can significantly reduce your energy bills.
  • How do I know if my HVAC system needs to be replaced?
Signs that your HVAC system may need replacement include: Frequent repairs and breakdowns. Increasing energy bills despite consistent use. Uneven heating or cooling in your home. Strange noises or odors coming from the system. The system is more than 15-20 years old.
  • Is heat pump AC really energy efficient?
Yes! Unlike traditional heating systems that generate heat by burning fuel or using electric resistance, it transfers heat energy from one source to another. For instance, in the winter, when your heat pump acts as a heating system, it extracts heat energy from the outside air (even in near-freezing temperatures) and transfers it into the air in your home. When summertime rolls around, it’s as easy as flipping a switch to change your heat pump to cool mode, where it pulls heat out of the inside air and pumps it outside to keep your home cool. Furthermore, our heat pump system has a high SEER rating which means better energy saving and is eligible for the Mass Save rebate.
  • Can HVAC systems improve indoor air quality?
Yes, modern HVAC systems can be equipped with air filtration and purification features that help remove dust, allergens, and pollutants from the air. In addition, proper ventilation ensures that fresh air circulates throughout the home, improving overall air quality.
  • What size HVAC system do I need for my home?
The size of the HVAC system depends on several factors, including the square footage of your home, insulation, and local climate. It’s important to have a professional perform a load calculation to determine the right size. An oversized or undersized system can lead to inefficiency and discomfort.
  • What is Rebate Program?
Regarding our rebate program, customers who install energy-efficient HVAC systems like heat pumps may be eligible for HVAC rebates. (These rebates are part of our effort to encourage energy-saving practices and make these systems more affordable.)
  • How much rebate can I get and can I get the quotation?
It depends on the property size and type. We will give you a quotation after our technician inspects your house. And we will provide you with an instant discount for residential houses. We also work with the loan program and will provide you with a 0% interest loan.
